| On behalf of the Naval Officers Club of Australia, I commend with gusto SydneyShowboats/MagisticCruises/Cruising Restaurants of Sydney for the splendid harbour luncheon cruise that we enjoyed immensely last Saturday afternoon.
As it was our inaugural cruise, neither I nor my fellow passengers knew
exactly what to expect, but we need not have had any concerns. It all
went like clockwork and the shift of the embarkation point to No 6 Ferry
Wharf at Circular Quay proved to be very popular.
We delighted in the arrangements, ambience and décor aboard Showboat 2,
and in particular the layout of tables and the fine food, refreshments and
attention provided by the cheerful and ever-so-considerate staff. These same
sentiments can be extended to the very professional and smartly turned out
bridge, deck and between-decks crew members.
Nancy, our cruise director, was superb – nothing seemed to be too much
trouble for her and she met all of our needs with understanding and enthusiasm.
It was a very jovial and contented group of passengers that disembarked on
completion of the cruise. I know that they will want to do it again.
I thank you wholeheartedly for your invaluable input and assistance to me in the
lead up to this very successful and memorable occasion. We look forward to a
repetition on Saturday 2 June 2012. |
